Product details

1050-O aluminum foil is a high-purity aluminum alloy with excellent thermal conductivity and processability. ‌

1050-O aluminum foil belongs to the 1050 series aluminum alloy, which is a high-purity aluminum alloy characterized by high purity, good thermal conductivity, and processing performance. The chemical composition of 1050 aluminum alloy contains over 99.5% aluminum, which gives it excellent formability, high corrosion resistance, good weldability, and conductivity. This material generally does not require heat treatment, and although its mechanical properties are relatively low, its elongation is high and it has good plasticity. The hardness of 1050-O aluminum foil is approximately between 16 and 18HB, with a density of 2.71 g/cm ³ and a thermal conductivity of 237 W/(m · K). ‌

1050-O aluminum foil is widely used in products that do not require high strength, such as chemical instruments, sheet metal processing parts, deep drawn or spun concave vessels, welded parts, heat exchangers, clock surfaces and dials, nameplates, kitchenware, decorations, reflective instruments, etc. These application areas mainly benefit from the high purity, good thermal conductivity and processing performance of 1050-O aluminum foil, as well as its low strength requirements. ‌

During the production process, 1050-O aluminum foil can be further optimized for its performance through quenching and aging treatment. The quenching temperature is generally between 500-510 ℃, followed by air cooling; The artificial aging temperature is 95-105 ℃ for 3 hours, followed by air cooling; Alternatively, natural aging can be used and left at room temperature for 120 hours. These heat treatment conditions help to improve the hardness and strength of 1050-O aluminum foil while maintaining its excellent formability and corrosion resistance
